Parking lights removal of globes

Postby simie2014 » Fri Apr 03, 2015 1:23 pm

This maybe a simple fix but my parking lights are not working...both of them. I want to check the bulbs but I am having trouble removing them. I have managed to take the lead of but the bulb is proving difficult. I don't want to force anything. Is the bulb and plastic fitting a twist and pull or just a pull out. Not sure myself. They don't seem to want to pull out nor twist either. Also can anyone tell me where the fuse box is on a 2000NB. Cheers.

IIRC they're a twist and pull, and the left hand one is a bastard thing with difficult access. The right hand one is the easier one so I'd recommend doing that one first as it will show you how to best get the left hand one out. Memory's a bit vague on the specifics, sorry.

Check your Owners Handbook, it may even tell you which way to turn the lamp holders for removal and will definitely detail the fuse boxes.

When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?
