TSI Wiring

Hey guys,

I've purchased a set of turn signal intakes, and it came with a black (ground) and green wire (turn signals). After wiring it up to the factory harness, the turn signals work, but they blink twice as fast as stock. I'm pretty sure its because of the fact that the remaining red wire (park lights) is not wired up to anything, causing the car to think that a bulb is out.

Do any of you guys know an adequate solution to this?

Does it have LEDs or conventional bulbs? Low power consumption of LEDS mean they blink much faster and you need to fit a series resistor to restore normal speed.

They should just work.
I would try refitting the globes (one might be a little loose).

As manga suggests if wattage of the TSI globes is lower than the wattage of the OEM globes, whether they are LED globes or not, then they may blink faster. Just replace a resistor in the flasher unit to fix - see last post this page by 4sfed5: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=64430&p=806791&hilit=flasher+mod%2A#p806791
