WBo2 Controller / Sensor Options

Greetings Humans!

Which WBo2/Controller are you using?

On my way to putting an MS in little red I've found that a Wideband o2 sensor is just half of the picture, and that you also need a controller to go with it to convert the signal from the sensor into something the ECU understands.

Looking around for just a Sensor <-> ECU controller, most of them have a million and one features, take inputs for all sorts of other things in the car, and generally, seem like they're doing a great deal more than they need to, resulting in a cost that's a great deal more than it needs to be to get me features that are going to be doubled-up by my ECU anyway... Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong, but an o2 controller in my eyes needs to get the signal to the ECU, and everything else is just fluff. (I don't even want a gauge for various reasons, most of them can be reduced to 'stubborn bloke is stubborn')

Looking around, I found this: http://www.14point7.com/products/sparta ... ntroller-2

No magic boxes. No logging features. It looks a great deal like a cable that runs from the WBo2 straight to the ECU. I presume there's circuitry in there somewhere. Includes instructions for getting better accuracy to the MS. It's made by Canadians, so it's bound to have a sense of humor. Everything looks like it's a good option. The sensor range is not as wide as an LC2 (10 -> 20 vs 7.x -> 22.y), but from what I understand it's just extra readings in the "wrong" area.

I also found this: http://forum.diyefi.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2267 which is a "which Wb do you recommend?" but also the first post on the page is by the guy that makes the spartan WBs. Apparently the guy is a nerd, and has developed a few different WBo2 controllers over the years, and now the spartan is as accurate as the sensor itself (Bosch 4.9), but also he's a "local hero" on a very specific forum, so that detracts votes from his product for me.

So!
What are you using?
What do you like about it?
What don't you like about it?
How many things does it *not* do that you wish it did?
How many things does it do that you wish it *didn't*?

I'm using an Innovate MTX-L controller/gauge. Controller is embedded in the gauge so you can't have one without the other. The only problem I've heard with them is that they are more prone to earthing problems than some others, so you need to make sure it's earthed properly or it can over/under-read badly. My gauge is typically within .1 AFR when compared to the data Tuner Studio shows from the MS, close enough for me.

If you're looking for a controller without a gauge, it seems most people go with the LC2. As long as the one you choose does the thing you need it to do, any extra features are pretty much irrelevant anyway. Pick one that has a good reputation and does what you need, ignore the rest.
