Hi all,
I've had the antenna removed from the guard and had the hole welded up ready to be painted over, going for the really clean look.
My next challenge is what to do for an antenna.
Does anyone have any suggestions that don't involve drilling a hole in the guard.
Thanks
Paul
Deleted the antenna from guard, where to install new one.

I'm running one of those style antennas with my DAB+ radio in my daily.
You don't even notice it tucked away on the passenger side.
Some need to be earthed to the windscreen pillar, if you're lucky they have a pickup that doesn't need paint removed for contact.

Leave the antenna where it is, and if you're really concerned put whatever antennae fits on the end.
Then just find whatever way works to stop it rattling around inside the guard.
If you live in a capital city you'll still have plenty of reception for most FM and AM stations, regional stations may not be super clear though.
