Horn wont work. Not what you think.

So my horn doesnt work and when I pulled off my steering wheel the horn wire/wires have broken fronbthe soldered point I can seem to see where the point is.

I bought some cable and im pretty good at soldering. Where do I resoldered it too.

It's hard to explain, but basically the horn completes a circuit from the brass outer ring of the boss kit, to the column itself.

The boss should have a brass ring on the back that's insulated from the rest of it, I can't remember if there's a fitting or just a free wire?
Anyway, that brass needs to complete the circuit with the boss itself (which is conductive and then grounds through the column)


If I remember correctly the OEM button grounds via the little spring clips that hold it in the wheel, and the only wired connection is to the brass ring on the boss.

Just re-attach it there.

The oem button does ground to the wheel via they clips.

I just cant see where the okd cable has broken off. There is no distinct solder marks or joins. Im guess it might be on the brass ring on the (engine side of the boss.
