Knowing the problem might make helping easier.

Is the light staying on?
Is it not coming on at all?
Is it blinking?

There's a plug up behind the glove box. Check that's not loose.

so it seems like it is the passager side airbag problem, is there any way to fix the problem?

According to Miata.net later models also had a connector under the seat. Not sure if this is the same here but they discuss some problems with that connection causing this code.

I believe there are no connector under passager side seat but driver side does have one and it is the seatbelt warning light

That switch won't have any bearing.

Once you have checked the connections (make sure you push them in hard to ensure they are making contact) my next step would be to disconnect the battery for a few minutes to try to clear codes. Reconnect, start the car and see if the code persists.

Also remember that if you're reading a US based site (like Miata net) when they reference "passenger side" it may be driver's side on our cars.

Need to remove the glove box to see it. Looks like this:

Push it together tight to make sure the contacts are connecting properly. Could be that the recent bumps dislodged it slightly. Happened to mine and I had same code. I've since put zip ties along to hold it all in place better and even after several k's of pretty rough dirt road recently the problem hasn't re-occurred **touches wood**

If that doesn't solve it, the ECU often stores error codes, so quite often even after fixing a problem, the light will still flash. The codes require clearing by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.

Good luck

haha ... wish I'd remembered that when I was initially wiring the NA8 electric mirrors in to my NA6. Would have saved a lot of unnecessary frustration
