Hey guys,

I have my MS DIYPNP2 built, installed and running in my NB8A now.
Currently I am running off the 1999-2000 Miata startup map that came from DIYAutotune.
http://www.megasquirtpnp.com/downloads/maps/index.htm

Has anyone got a map that is a bit more refined then this to get me around until I turbo the engine (estimate in the next month or two)?
Currently the engine is stock except for the K&N intake.
Right now I am running the factory IAT sensor but this morning I noticed it was reading -2°C on startup which is impossible so i will swap it out to the GM IAT which I have ASAP.
I also have a Innovate LC-1 which isnt installed yet, I was going to leave this out until I drop the turbo in but I dont think the narrowband factory unit is up to the task of VE Analyze so I will install this ASAP as well.

Also does anyone have a decent map for a turboed engine they would be willing to share?
I'll be running a T28BB/GT2560R with front mount.
I see DIYAutotune have a 1994 Miata 1.8 turbo tuner map which I will have to use if I cant get anything closer.

Cheers,
Dale

There is no universal map, when diyautotune advertise that you must get the car tuned properly they mean it.

Dont keep driving the car unless you like rebuilding engines. Tune it first. Install the wideband, configure your sensors and get out and tune it.

Thanks Dann,
I see where you are coming from but from what I have read around the place the base ignition map is pretty conservative and from what I can tell most people leave these as is for a street tune and just play with the VE maps. Obviously if you go and get it properly dyno tuned the sky is the limit but I’m just looking for something to ‘get me by’ until I put the turbo on and get it tuned properly.

If someone has a good tune with the same/very similar mods, I’d be a lot better off and this is why I started the topic, doesn’t hurt to ask :)
