Hey guys,

Some of the bulbs in my car have blown. Others, I would like to change the colour... 8)

Can someone kindly point me to the direction where I can find the part/model number of the following light bulbs?... (of if you know it on top of your head, even better):

- Bulbs behind the speedo/cluster;
- Bulbs behind the air-con unit;
- Bulbs for the boot lid lights;
- Bulb for the light on the A-pillar that get triggered by door movements;

Thanks in advance :D

Isn't it in the owner's manual! Check the glovebox.

But yes, my cluster bulb is dim...can you do that :)

The manual lists a few, but I'm not sure if it lists the more unique ones, like the cluster and the other dash lights.

I'm racking my memory here, but I think the cluster has 2 kinds in it, the larger ones to light the tacho/speedo/temp/fuel, which I think were 5w wedge bulbs (same as the parking lamps)

And then smaller ones to light the warning lights (they may have been the same size, I can't remember clearly)

I found a blown bulb on mine last night so I'll be looking this info up tonight if you don't have access to your manual Vic.

I thought they were 3w wedges. Could be wrong. They are standard clear wedges, with an orange rubber membrane fitted over them to provide the colour. I swapped all mine over to orange tinted glass ones recently as my rubbers had degraded / perished with age :oops: I swapped them all at once as they were a slightly different colour / brightness.

There's also an itty bitty wedge behind the odometer.

Boot lid lights are 5W wedge.

Thanks guys. I'm contacting the eBay seller whom I've bought some of the speedo bulbs off to see whether they can supply everything I need in one go

Will make a post once I've sorted this for other people who might be asking the same thing.

Apu, so you want me to change your A-pillar bulb?...

the answer is actually simple. Do not worry about the description. If the bulb is to be replaced when not functioning then remove it and take it to Bursons , as an example, and they will refer to the Narva or Philips cats and supply what is required. I never understand why anyone buys a simple thing like a bulb from someone on e bay when it is available from a Bursons or Repco etc probably 5 mins away.I have a Burson a Repco and Autobarn all within 4 km and a SCA about 5km. Bulbs are low cost items and if you have the sample you get the right product. Many people do not really understand a technical explanation of a bulb and many owners manuals also do not define the exact product.
