OK, so judging by this -

It seems obvious why autotune destroys the driveability of the car

I have played around for about an hour now in LM programmer and i believe i have everything set right.
Clearly i do not though.

The Analogue gauge and TunerStudios are about .5 different, and LOGWORKS shows that i am over 1.5 points different.
Explains why it idles so well at what i thought was 15

Is there somebody that can help a fool like me out?

Mine consistently shows a 0.2 AFR difference between actual AFR (displayed on LC1 gauge) and Tunerstudio. This is a known fault, and provided you allow for it by setting your target AFRs 0.2 low across the board) you should be apples.

More variance than that and I would suggest you either have the wrong wideband settings in Tunerstudio, or your WB requires a recalibration.

Or your LC1 and/or sensor is toast...

Thanks Zos.

I am recalibrating the LC1 now.
Then i will play with the settings again to see if i can get LOGWORKS and my gauge to at least match closer than 1.4 difference.

If you know off hand, could you let me know what settings your kicking out of the LC1 to the MS?

It matched the settings from my gauge to the MS output and they are seeing similar, about .4 difference sometimes.

Thanks mate

Sorted!!!

Well mostly.

I am now reading within .2 on my analogue gauge and logworks
I am still almost .5 difference between analogue and tunerstudios.
But that's workable..

Hey Zossy, or anyone, is there a easy way to offset the wideband in tunerstudios??
That way i don't need to use my head in the Target Afr table.

There is a way, but IIRC it is not easy. Sorry, I don't remember off the top of my head what the right WB settings are, pretty sure it is Innovate LC1 0-5V but don't quote me :)

Check msextra and mt.net for more info on the Tunerstudio AFR variance and the fix :)

Being a fairly good programmer of megasquirt, what issue are you having? I don't believe there is any LC1 calibration issues, but if there is, I'm happy to fix it.

Thanks for the reply.
Not using it anymore.
But in case this helps someone out down the track.
I was using the grounds and power for The lc1 from the megasquirts Db15 connector.
Braineack built it that way so i assumed that was fine.
I seemed to have almost an exact whole point richer than what was being displayed on a gauge.
So i just tuned from logworks and used the gauge as a guide during driving.
