My radio reception is getting fuzzier. I recall from many years ago that this problem often related to the HT leads. Would this be the case in the MX? And if so is it just a matter of replacing the leads or does something else need to be done?

I had this problem playing my ipod in my NA. My ipod was connected to a FM ipod transmitter which was tuned into the stock radio. When playing my ipod you could hear interference and the sound of the interference was directly related to the engine revs. I changed my HT leads and all was well. However, the radio always played ok, no interference that i could notice.
HT leads arn't that expensive so why not change them and see what happens?
Good luck

I had the same problem with my iPod when it was plugged into the 12 volt socket.... I cannot remember if the radio was fuzzy as well, but changing the ignition leads fixed the problem. The sound was crystal clear afterwards. Not a bad idea to change them regardless, if they have some age on them.
