So I got BORED today and finaly got around to finishing of my start button mod. I decided to make my car start like a modern push button start car i used a cheep start button kit from Ebay (wanted the button to say engine start) and some input and out puts from my ECU. Heres the Vid
Now to fit the button and tidy up the wiring

Damn, that's a neat setup! I have had a S2000 button in mine since 2006, but I need to hold it in for the starter crank and let go once it starts.

I installed one in my other car. Very cool for a couple of days, then novelty wore off very quickly.
Anyone notice you can buy "fake" starter buttons now?

If you get bored of the button you should find a way to start it from a remote!

Yeh i put one of these in my NB8b same one infact. There quite nice. Does yours turn off the engine too? Myn came with a little module with optional press to switch.

Hey, that's neat. I like it. But what happens if the engine doesn't start for some reason? Does it keep on cranking till the battery goes flat?

Nope has a 10 second timer set at the moment ( i can turn it up if need be )
