My young fella is going to look at an NA6 this week. The owner has told him that the headlights won't raise when the lights are turned on. They raise when the button on the dash is pushed and they lower when the lights are turned off.

As I am trying to figure the right price I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before and what is required to fix it.

Any help appreciated.

Reasonably common problem on the NA & likely to be the Imasen LA12 relay:

Yep, that's the one.

Note the Imasen B481-67-7C0B appears to be different to the Imasen LA12, so just tried to check my NA8 to confirm, but can't find the under the driver side dash or in the engine bay.

Probably best to confirm what you've actually got in your NA8.

Here's what I mean about the Imasen B481-67-7C0B appearing different to the Imasen LA12:

Apart from the different looking base, LA12 is 5 pin, while B481-67-7C0B is 6 pin.

Since the threads here mention La12 it's worth confirming with the seller.
Why not see if we can get the lot and split costs? I would get one if the price is right and the product is right!
