Do all aftermarket head units come with ISO harnesses

Hi, I am still trying to decide between a Pioneer, Alpine and Kenwood. Does anyone know if the head units (CD receivers) sold by these companies come with an ISO harness.\

I have already ordered the harness to go from the car's harness to an iso connector. I just want to make sure that I do not need another harness that goes from the iso to the radio.

ISO harness has an ISO connector, which is a standardised connector to allow all head units to connect to aftermarket car specific harnesses. Its to prevent having to cut and splice and tape wires.

Thanks for that. This backs up the impression I have been forming that Alpine units need a harness. Is the same true for Pioneer or Kenwood?

Yes it is. Each company has their own standard that you need to take to iso so you can go iso to Mazda

I wish the previous owner of my car had used a connector harness. My wiring is a mess under the dash. Between the radio and alarm I removed about half a mile of wire when I replaced my dashboard but in hindsight I wish I had purchased an un-mutilated loom.
