NC Front Speakers

[NC_Hammer]

Just found these speakers from CDT. They are 8" woofers with 2" mid tweeters.

Also have a 3-way setup with 8" woofers 3.5" mid woofers and 1" tweeters

Although a bit trickier to install due to the size of the 3.5" mid woofer i believe?

Anyway, was wondering if the 2-way setup would fit the NC, seems like an ideal setup to have without subwoofers (even 8" subs in the boot)

Will they fit in the doors of the NC (without Bose) with an Alpine 7" double din headunit powered by a 2ch amp?

Specs on mounting of woofers:

Mounting depth for 8” woofer: 3.69”(93.7mm)
Cut out hole:7.43” (188.8mm)
Frame outer diameter:8.27” (210mm)

CDT don't know if they will fit the mx5 as they haven't installed in one yet, i'm thinking they will be close? Anyone know the mounting depths or how much room there is in there?
