Found this headlight kit while window shopping recently.

Was wondering if anybody had any experience with this or a similar product or knows someone that has and could give some feedback or issues. Also just looking for some general thoughts on the concept.

I think they look neat and would certainly solve my visibility issues that the standard setup seems to create.

projector lamps are good but be careful to ascertain if these are suitable for lh traffic otherwise the cut off will be wrong. The standard lamp actually can be pretty good with a new insert but some have a prob with the light unit sitting up- I would have thought you look over the light??

Maybe "visibility issue" was the wrong way to word it. But it can be quite frustrating with how far the standard setup intrudes into field of vision.

I love the pop up lamps. Not many cars are left on the road with pop up lamps. Treasure them.

I was not happy with the sealed beams, so simply replaced them with a set of after market lamps. Now I have the classic pop-ups with a better quality light. Jump onto any of the MX-5/Miata parts sellers and you will find a heap of H4 upgrades (or better). I think getting rid of the pop-ups could ruin a little of the charm of the NA...

probably most know it but Hella amongst others have a replacement H4 insert. Light will of course improve considerably ( use standard 60/55w bulbs) but I think the "problem" is that the light carrier sits too high for some.
