iPpod not working in aux jack NC series 2

Postby PAU61L » Wed Jan 05, 2011 8:18 pm

Help required: when I connect an mp3 player or iPod to the aux jack in my new NC, the music doesn't play properly...not coming clearly through all speakers. I know the devices and cables work, have used them in other cars. Any suggestions as to what the problem is would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Dianne (Paul's better half)
so much fun, why didn't I get one sooner !!!!!!

Thanks Mr Morlock,
just wondering whether someone else has had the same problem and if it is a quick fix, possibly an adjustment in the audio setup. Before we have to go to a dealer.
Talk to you later, Paul (Dianne's better half)

Hi Dianne,
Have you had any results re; the iPOD connection in your NC?
Greg.
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

Hello everyone, had the car at Mcgrath Liverpool to sort it out, they had to pull the dash apart, then took photos and co-ordinated with Mazda Aus. It turns out that it is an old blue tooth Ipod unit that was installed, which should have not been used. Mcgrath had to put the car back together, and AMR Mazda will have to replace it later (where we bought the car and who installed the unit).
Steph at Mcgrath Mazda was fantastic to deal with.
Waiting for AMR to call us, Mcgrath were going to replace at AMR expense, but the AMR manager was not at work, so the decision could not be made.
Talk to you later, Paul.
