It seems as late when i hit a bump my airbag light flashes 7 times then pauses and starts again, does this about 12 times.
Is there any info on the diagnostics of this problem?
Cheers

I reckon it's because you haven't used your stock seat belts

According to the workshop manual
In part 08-00 On-Board Diagnostics it is reporting a Passenger-side air bag module system and leads to (See 08–02–11 DTC 07)
Had a similar issue with another of my cars.
Took all the necessary precations like disconnecting the battery and not going near the air bag.
I seperated the connection, checked it, then sprayed it with some electrical contact cleaner.
Worked for me - Good Luck

Need to revive an old thread as this identical problem has just arisen in my car.
Regie, did you do what was suggested and did it work?
If so, can someone give me a bit more detail around how to clean/fix this? Got a big trip next week and wouldn't want the airbags to pop out in the middle of nowhere...

Nothing to add
Unless you want written details with sketches and photo's!

Make sure you wait for at least a minute after disconnecting the battery when playing around with airbag plugs etc.

Agh didn't see this thread. Haha
I just made sure the connection between the PAB and the car were tight. It moved the tiniest bit, but haven't had the light show since then.
The connector is to the left of the glovebox hole when you pull the glovebox off
