I'm a Newb to MX5's and some literature says the ECU or PCU is located behind the passenger seat?

Another page seems to say it's under the passengers feet on Australian models.

So, where does it actually live??????

assuming yours is an Aust delivered MX5, it lives at the bottom of the firewall in front of the passengers feet. behind the seat is for USDM Miatas.
