NC Bose Sound System - AM Frequency Issues

My 2007 LE came out with the std BOSE soud system.

Everything's been working fine for the last 2 years which is great.

Lately I've been driving about 1000km a week which has resulted in me switching over to the AM dial in the car to get some red neck talk back radio into the system.

Clarity has been great however as of this week, the AM signal is basically dead in the car - when the car's moving.

It's marginally 'ok' when at a stand still but when the car starts travelling the interference is insane.

Unsure whether it's an issue with the head unit or the antenna. Car's still under warranty so I will get it checked out when it's next in, but wondering if anyones had issues with the Radio's tuner going bung?

Any other thoughts?

Thanks.

There was an issue with faulty connections on the aerial cable.
Warranty issues.

These are North American issues but should be addressed by your Aus dealer.

Thanks Sailor - will look into it.

I actually used the tool pouch earlier in the week and pushed it back into the cubby where the aerial apparently is. Will have a look over the weekend to see if I've accidentally moved something

PB you're too young for AM, time to invest in some music or download some Dr Karl / Hack for your dose of talk back.

Okibi - think I've gone through the 1400 songs on my ipod about 4 times now.

Way too much driving atm!
