MX5 Megasquirt Megaview adaptation

Postby davo5 » Tue Mar 09, 2010 1:37 am

Thought i would share a project i have been working on every now and then for a few weeks. Nothing original, its just another adaptation of a Megasquirt "Megaview" display, but its my custom design and uniquely MX5.

I made it to try and help with post tuning driving with the Megasquirt, to help quickly identify any glitches with the EMS / tune and maybe later keep an eye on autotuning, knock sense ignition advance... traction control... etc...

What i really wanted to implement was a rough graphing feature, so if you were driving along and felt a glitch you could (whilst taking responsible due care on the road) quickly flick through a history of key parameters to try and identify the source of the glitch. But I ran out of RAM on the display so that will have to come with a hardware improvement down the track.
