Gday
My power windows on my 89 eunos will go down but they will only go up after i push the switch 4 million times. Its only on the drivers side window but today it took 5 pushes of the switch to get the passenger side up.It could be the switch but i tinted the windows a couple weeks back so could the water from the tints damage the
wires/cables.any thoughts?
thankyou

Hi I suggest you take the switch apart, quite easy, and clean the terminals with a fine emery paper and WD40.What you describe is a common problem.

Also you should get inside the door and lube the sliders, rubbers and cable etc, replacing those is a PITA much easier to try and maintain them so they don't snap.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

WD40 is only a very temporary measure. It will eventually gum up and stuff the connectivity. Electrical contact cleaner available from your local electronic store works better.
