Scan of JDM 180km Gauge faces??

Hi Guys,

Bit of an odd request. I have an Eunos import and happen to be a graphic designer with dreams of making some retro inspired gauge faces. To do this i need a scan of some (JDM 180km) gauge faces. The problem is the gauges in my car are already modified and thus are no use to me as a base to work off (without risking destroying them, also as they are aftermarket they are not a good reference). So does anyone either have some HIGH (300dpi) scans of original JDM gauges or has their instrument cluster in pieces and could scan them for me? Or i could borrow some for a day to scan and give back...? I imagine that buying a gauge cluster from import wreckers would set me back a bit, which defeats the point of a DIY project, so I was hoping someone might have a scan or be able to do one.

Any help, or other ideas appreciated.
Cheers,
Emil

Well, your post on the big forum dug up some great info, including this one.

The examples he provides are in MpH, hopefully you are able to use this for KpH?

Given said car is a imported Eunos, then I'm guessing an NA.

Its for an NA, sorry i forgot to mention that.

I have been to the revlimiter site but the templates is no good as far as i have found, as the scaling is for MPH and the oil pressure and temp scales are in imperial or are just the "High and Low" scales.
Essentially the best and most reliable way would be to get a scan of some JDM ones. I have infact compared the relimiter drawings with a scan of some canadian ones (again which have the wrong scale, they go to 220kph and have both metric and imperial) and they dont match up perfectly, so i would prefer to 'digitize' some scans myself.

i do have 180 KPH gauges, but for an NB.. they are currently still in the instrument cluster. i'm very reluctant to pull them apart as the needles haven't been tampered with, and once u get them off, u do get slightly different readings..

you can buy the whole cluster off me

I actually have an NB dash (from previous owner), but still the original NA gauge cluster. Although i dont think i have the skills to wire up a NB gauge cluster, so i will have to wait for an NA gauge cluster.
