Good luck with it. Can't be too difficult because my mate's 15yo son earns pocket money by soldering them up for motorbikes.

Nearly finished. I had the Microsquirt board attached last night but I need to get some cables so I can load the firmware.

Nice going.
I've been re-acquianting myself with my PNP, and it's so satisfying to know what you are doing and punch in the right numbers in the right places and getting the results you want. I can only imagine how much MORE satisfying it must be to do all this from scratch.

That's awesome! What sort of experience have you had previously with soldering? I would love to attempt this, but my soldering skills is that of a handicapped baboon...

I think this is holding alot of people back from doing this...me included, its been wayyy to many years since i spent some serious time on a soldering iron.
Keep up the good work jerrah, more pics please!

In a past career I worked in a TV repair shop so I've handled a soldering iron before.
I'd be happy to solder up more DIYPNP's for people for a fee.
It's not that difficult to assemble.

Are you the Repairman from Silicon Chip magazine?
I can solder (terribly). Your soldering looks nice and neat.

No I'm not the repairman.
Thanks for the complements. I actually finished the main board earlier in the week but I haven't had the time to post up a picture.
