Just wondering if any one has installed a clock in their NA. I find it is one of the draw backs, besides not having a cup holder.

I brought a crappy moveable one and stuck it to the centre console ashtray. Only problem is, it doesnt illuminate at night.

P.S - My CD player doesnt have the time. That would of done the trick..haha

Any pictures or suggestions would be great.

The original radio has one in it. Another option is this;

It replaces the cubby holder below the radio.

I've seen people put a small clock over by the switches to ve right or the steering wheel. Personally I ran with the cd player logic.

i use the cd player too, but usually end up looking at my watch anyway. :roll:

i also wedge my drinks between the back of the passenger seat and the centre console armrest. passenger seat needs to be positioned all the way back and almost fully reclined (or up against the BD rollbar if you have one). works a treat - more secure than any factory cupholder. 8)

+1

Not so great for Macca's style cups but perfect for bottles.

haha.. I'm not too keen on that analogue clock. Wouldnt pay for it.

I'm considering salvaging an old digital clock from an car yard - digital display and cutting a rectagular box in the ash tray and connecting one on there. At least if i connect it up right, it'll illuminate at night. What do u guys think?

Have a look around jaycar. I'm sure they'd have something you could make work.

Look for a backlit LCD display and wire up the light to come on with the ignition. That way you'll be able to read the display in dark conditions such as underground carparks. Some LCD displays need to be wired to the dash light circuit as well to dim the display when the dash lights are turned on so it's not to bright at night. Avoid LED displays because you wont be able to read the display in direct sunlight with the roof down.
