MegaSquirtPNP 90-93 vs 94-95

I have a 1991 NA6 with a NB6 engine.

I'm currently running the NA6 intake manifold, throttle body and TPS.

I intend to run the NB6 intake manifold throttle body and a variable TPS.

What is the difference between a 1990 - 1993 MegaSquirt vs the 1994-1995 model? The 94-95 has the MapDaddy with barometric correction preinstalled and would work out cheaper than adding it to the 90-93 model.

Could I run the 94-95 fine in a NA6 with the 90-93 map? Are the ECU connections the same across the models?

Thanks.

Good question! As you already know you should order the one for the relevant engine harness you are using, but in your case it may just work. I've found the following link to be a great resource, but keep in mind the US has minor differences (sequential injection on early models?):

Let me know if you want a hand! :)

Wouldn't the 90-93 PNP be tuned for a 1.6L engine while the 94-95 PNP tuned for the 1.8L engine? Could it be that simple?

DIYPNP has advised me that the NA6 is physically incompatible with the 94-95. I guess that ends that.

I'm getting a quote for a pre-modified 90-93 with VTPS and MapDaddy.

Saboteur I'll have to take you up on your offer. :)
