Iv reciently bought a 95 na8 and decided to take out all the additional wirering ( phone car kit, crappy cd player, alarm that didn't work...) i was very careful with what wires i took out but think i may have missed part of the imobilizer as the car wont start lol! everything works except the engine does't turn over, so i plugged part of the alarm back in and it starts but the hazards flash...
What i need to know is, does the cars ECU have an imobilizer or is it that i haven't pulled out the alarms imobilizer?
if anyone with the same car could take a photo of under there dash for me it would be much appreciated as taking it to the auto elec mite cost me my arm and left testy for somthing that my be simple.
Cheers craig

NAs don't have factory immobilisers. trace the wiring back to figure out where the immobiliser circuit is.

You will need to find the factory wire that was cut to enable the immobilzer to operate. If your lucky only one system is immobilzed. Some alarms immobilze several systems. If it doesn't even turn over on the starter I'd be having a good look at the starter circuit near the switch and look for two original wires with the same colour code that join into the alarm wiring. Join them up again and all should be sweet.
