hey when i go past 4k rpm my lights (exterior and interior) start to dim, gets worse as the revs rise.. whats the problem here?

edit: new alternator fixed the prob

Most likely an alternator problem. If you have a multimeter, check the battery voltage at revs. If less than about 13.7 go see an auto-elec.
