My car has developed an unusual habit which is very embarrasing in public. On wet nights, the headlights pop up and down ( in unison) rapidly, without warning, much to the mirth of passers by. This goes on until I can push the light button on the dash to keep them up. Does anyone know why Ive got the droop?

Blinker/Headlight stalk switch is failing it will need to be replaced, sometimes the headlights may just turn on but not pop up (even with the ignition off)

Thanx ampz, that must be spot on, because I didnt mention that sometimes happens as well ( well, there are some things you dont like to admit .. )

Is there a simpler fix, like a nasal spray for the car?
