i bought one of mx mania yesterday and was starting to install it, but for the heck of me i cant find the plug that is under the dash. it only has 2 wires coming out of it, its suppose to be up around the fuse box area but i cant seem to find it.
the car is a 2001 NB btw.
Does anyone have any picys of where this would be located?
Cheers in advance

3 wires are coming down from the passenger side kick panel. just take off your glove box (really easy) and you will see the 3 wires running. 1 is door tirgger, one is 12+ and one is negative.... just tap it in... took me ages to find the damn cables while installing my alarm...

Yeah, it's on the passenger side. White plug mounted to the body up near the blower. I only remember 2 wires but my memory is pretty average these days.

You'll probably find the instructions are for LHD cars.

I'd think you wouldn't want to do that since it'd mean that the interior lights would be always on if you're driving at night?
Nonetheless, I'm sure it's possible. Just a matter of figuring out where the ACC cable runs to and tapping to that.

sliq you can wire them so they turn on when your parkers are on, just tap the + side into the wire behind the light dimmer switch (cant remember what colour it was i can find out for you.) and it should do the trick... good idea to put red leds under the dash for nigth driving..

I've been trying to work out how to do this for months, and stumbled across this topic. Is the wiring for the lights the same on a 2004 SE as well? I assume I will find the wiring under the glove box as well and not under the steering wheel?
Thanks heaps :-)

Check yr fuses. What did you do? You might have to reverse your process. The instructions should help.
