Well I received the Audiolink unit that I ordered from MX5parts. I was going to take photos and do a \"how to\" post. After looking at it, I felt it was too easy to bother.
I removed the glovebox and connected it up that way instead of removing the stereo unit. Due to lack of space at the back of he unit, it was rather fiddly. Once the antannae jack was removed, it had to feel where the socket was and then plug the jack in. Once the jack's in, the antannae jack can be replaced and everything is go. I bought a 2 gig UBS thumb drive and ripped all my favourite Elvis and ABBA hits (only kidding) into mp3 files and what a relief, no more CDs rattling in the glovebox!!
I do like some Elvis and ABBA hits.
