Hey all
My power windows seem to get slower and slower day by day. In the past I have used silicon spray on another I owned and that would resolve the problem so long as I kept them lubricated.
What do you guys do with mx5 windows?
Cheers

There is a known problem where the window up/down switch contacts become dirty. You can pull the switch apart and clean the contacts. I am told this makes a big difference. If you do a search you should find more info as I seem to remember a recent post on this very subject.

Or if you go to the garage / tech section at Miata.net, someone did a write-up on taking apart the door trims to get to the window mechanisms and then trim-cutting the silicon 'ball' guides which let the windows slide easier in their railings.
I have done this mod and it seems to compensate for my worn motors somewhat.
