Audio upgrade for the SE

Well I've had it for 6 weeks....Before I even got it home, I made the decision - the standard stereo blows. Thankfully, one of the drawpoints for the particular SE I bought, was that it didnt have the horrid BOSE system, which meant upgrades were much easier. 3 days after buying it, I installed the Pioneer P6850 DVD screen. Made such a difference. I was quite surprised at how well the standard speakers performed with the new HU....however it didnt take long before one of the standard speakers developed a constant buzz. Time to fit the 6\" Splits from the NA....I had planned on doing it, just never got around to it.
I used the OEM speaker mounts as a template, then made up my own for the new speakers.
For mounting the crossovers, I was able to mount them on the inside of the door trim, without any clearance problems.
Its great, as it looks completely standard to the untrained eye....except for the HU haha
The next step will be fitting the amp that I used in the NA. I'm thinking about mounting it under a false floor in the passenger footwell or something like that....I'll have to see
