are you planning to run the sub off a seperate amp? if so use rca's 8 and 9, or 11 and 12 (either pair should be fine, it shouldn't matter) to feed the amp. this will give you a stereo signal which hopefully your amp will sum to mono for the sub. i'm not really an expert on car audio so i don't know what features are common on car amps, but i'm assuming most of them can sum a stereo singal to mono ?
or if you only have one set of speakers in the doors (like most mx5's, i assume you don't have rear speakers. maybe you coul run the sub off the rear speaker outputs, 15 and 18. ? ? ? just sum these together (ie wire them both to the sub)... would this work guys?

yea as stated you can run either the front or rear RCA's for your sub as long as your not using them to amp your fronts and rears in which case the amp you are using might have an inbuilt splitter in it or you might need to buy a seperate one.
If you aren't amping the fronts or rears then just choose one of those sets to send the signal to your amp, using a monoblock you shouldn't have to worry to much as it should already have a low pass filter built in (stops the higher frequencies coming from your sub) other than that just enjoy it
I love my sub
