airbag hazard light

Noticed after having my gearbox synchro repaired, airbag hazard warning light was on.
Would come on intermittently, then go off.
Went away for awhile.
Now after fitting CAI it comes on more frequently, ?? coincidence.
Bottom line is mazda dealer in brissy is stumped.
Same thing happened to my wifes car after an accident, reset of electronic module and no more problems.
Any ideas, re possible problem.
