I started the car up thismorning and turned the radio on while i scraped all the ice off the windscreen. got back in the car and turned the lights on and the radio turned off Turned the lights off and the radio came back on etc etc. Any suggestions. I was thinking fuse but they both are still functioning, its just one or the other.

Have a look on miatanet. This is a common problem with the US cars. There's a guy called Jeff Anderson that has a fix for it. But I cant remember what the fix was. It's either a dry joint or you need to bypass something with a jumper.
