Lc2 is cheaper to produce I believe. The mtxl was certainly the same price or cheaper then the lc1.

Not wanting to get too far off track, but are you saying that with the the PLX board plugged into the adaptronic, the board allows you to see adaptronic data on a DM-6? Like AFR etc?
Ie the data goes in a chain like: innovate AFR sensor/module -> adaptronic ecu -> PLX board -> DM-6 displaying afrs?

Lokiel was saying he's using the innovate MTX-L into the ecu and the PLX board is showing AFR on his PLX DM-6, just wanted to confirm that was correct.
That could possibly work very well for me if I can use the PLX imfd kiwi adaptor, instead of a DM-6, to push the data to dashcommand on the iphone, or disconnect that and plug in a dm-6 for tuning then revert back the imfd adaptor for a guage free dash.

(I currently have Kiwi wifi sending obd2 data to dashcommand on my phone which pushes the display onto my pioneer headunit.)

The new ECU is tiny and provides access to all of its ports on one side, plus it has all of its LEDs on that same side - much better to mount the ECU somewhere that it's easier to access them and see the LEDs if needed.

I've only had my set-up running on the kitchen table so far without the ECU connected, just Innovate MTX-L -> PLX board -> DM-6 but hope to have something to report tomorrow night when I "hopefully complete" my new ECU-in-glovebox solution.

I had a couple of questions for Andy today and this was one of them, so straight from the horse's mouth:
"No, OBDII is not supported. I’m thinking about it but it looks like a biggish job and I’m not sure why people would want it. Note that Shell's AdaptiveTuner Android App can log Adaptronic data so you're not really missing out on anything if you want to see gauges and you're used to using Torque.
The other question was regarding the Wideband AFR sensor. Previously I was using the original Adaptronic Select ECU's 0-5V External Input for my AFR source but that is now used for alternator control so I suspected that the only AFR sensors that can now be used are the Innovate sensors, or any that provide a serial connector like the Innovate's do. Andy's response:
"You can also use a wideband input via the narrowband input if you scale it for a 0-3V signal, but yes you’re right. We do prefer the Innovate for reasons I think you already know (serial, no ground offset problems, tells you the sensor status in the packet so the ECU can go open loop if the sensor fails or is cold, etc) but we should make that explicit on the web page."
ie. The Innovate AFR sensor is definitely the one you want for an Adaptronic ECU.

Ok, ID725s are in, Keith from FM says the MSM fuel pressure should be between 53-61 psi which translates to 3.6-4.2 bar
The website has settings for 55psi and 60psi and micro second values for each at 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 volts.
So I made some estimates between these figures and i've come up with

8.0 222
8.5 202
9.0 182
9.5 165
10.0 149
10.5 136
11.0 126
11.5 117
12.0 110

It made a MASSIVE difference to my idle changing these dead times. Happy to hear others experiences and more accurately calculate these values.
Huge thank you to Kenson who came over this arvo and taught me a bit more about the adaptronic and made sure the current tune is safe enough to drive to the dyno later this week.

I am another adaptronic 440 select user. Just bought my car on the weekend.
1.6 NA
Big plenum and intake
11:2:1 compression head with valves etc.
Dyno'd at 82kw at the rears at 7400rpm.
Seems like a pretty good tune. Though idle and cruise needs some work. Idle is way to high once warm and has intermittent hesitation at very light throttle 60kmh / 100kmh or so.
Can we post our maps here to do a comparison? or is that frowned upon?

i should add i am keen to run that Android app posted earlier. What sort of cable to do i need? It looks like a Serial -> Headphone jack on the Select ECU. And then i assume a Serial to Bluetooh Adapter yeah? Can someone confirm?

Absolutely loving my Adaptronic, huge thanks to Andy at Adaptronic and Andy at Hyperdrive. Car is so smooth and i'm making the most of the intake an exhaust. Moved a few spots up the rankings in the club motorsport too.

Has anyone upgraded to the latest firmware yet?
Looks like a few good bits:
- Higher resolution flex fuel tuning
- Faster communications
- Higher resolution TPS and MAP for logging / display
- Innovate SSI4 input, oil, fuel pressure monitoring and engine protection
- Various improvements in transient throttle (open loop fuel during transition, disable pump on constant throttle, additional async when cold)
- PLX wideband input, PLX gauge output
- Injector characterisation built-in for Injector Dynamics injectors
Can't wait till im ready to get one into my car

Anthony shut kaizen garage I believe. Tried the adaptronic dealers list? Garry Stewart uses them and Nick at NA Autosport will tune it but it's not his preferred ecu.
