Thanks Droo. I've seen your excellent work. Yes, I was thinking of putting a complete DRL inside the park light.
My amended thoughts - I might drill a hole in the side of the park light and insert a flexible DRL (resealing the hole with silicone). I've seen some which emit a solid bar of light (I dislike the individual light dots).

I apologise if I posted a link that it has been suggested is not a legal conversion. I have no affiliation with the website, I was simply posting information that I thought may be of interest/help. Cheers NAS

Re: Separating NA front park light lenses?
I've added a DRL controller to the stock park lights;
-Indicators are constantly on to act as DRLs
-They blink when indicating (only one side)
-Globes are LEDs
-The lights are obviously amber, but are much easier to see than clear. Don't carry on about legality. I might detango them, but then they will indicate clear.

Cheers.
Everything is hidden. The mod is the same as US Miata lights. We don't have the wiring.

Sorry, no link. Just me and a soldering iron.
The cheap LED globes aren't bright enough. I've ordered some dearer globes and will see how it goes.
