Way different rules.

Car has to meet rego, RWC, ADRs, licence to use, etc

A bike pretty much just needs wheels and brakes.

Section 68/79/71/72 TRANSPORT OPERATIONS (ROAD USE MANAGEMENT—VEHICLE STANDARDS AND SAFETY) REGULATION 2010

In Queensland it is legal!

What is legal and what section ( this refers QLD only) refers to the original post i.e. having a red signal light that presumably flashes intermittently. It has to be a non standard function and very doubtful if its legal anywhere in Au.

Point Mr Morlock, flashing would not be acceptable in Queensland. However a high mounted brake light on the roll bar would be acceptable.

This is where I have mine mounted. It is only used as a rain light and can be turned flashing if needed. As previously mentioned it could be wired as a brake light as well as a rain light.

An high mount stop light would work well though I am not sure if that might be annoying with roof up. I suppose you could put a switch to disable with roof up.

Need to put it on the spolier for safety.

Da pain do you understand the aerodynamic impact that your suggestion would have?

I doubt that you would have even done your wikipedia/eHow research, but what you have suggested was done at the Le Mans. The rear wing endplates had LED lights in them, however the OP was asking about roll bar mounted ones...

Please confine your ramblings to your own threads and not bog down a legitimate one. Also no need to do a nested quote!

Just looking out for you, Magpie. Don't want a Cessna rear ending you.
