The Projector lenses you're wanting to retrofit are these:

Can land them off ebay from between 80-200$.

Luke, the crystal headlight assemblies from ebay (which i've tested in the past) are utter useless rubbish.

(middle image) There is NO cutoff on lowbeam/highbeam, and highbeam has very low light output as it's not aimed - at anything. Also very VERY dull light output as it's entirely relying on the globe itself as the rear reflector is as shiny as dried dog poo..

The only thing they would be ok for is gutting them for a proper HID retrofit, as the glass has no diffusion/Fresnel pattern on them.

the VWVortex link Green_Comet posted above is the way to go. Looks good with fantastic output.

the e bay projectors will probably be sub standard- almost certainly Asian manufacture from clone makers with no guarantee of quality on anything- . Quality products have to be made to strict specs including materials- eg plastic spec related to heat, distortion etc . If a co cannot even write a blurb in English which is at best Chinglish is not very encouraging. droo;s comments about the crystal things bear out what I would expect ( his photos show it quite easily ie no control over the light in the crystals. I could write a glowing review of a lamp which has little resemblance to reality.

Bear in mind also that even with a projector lamp unit it still has to be engineered into a housing. Far easier said than done and diy is almost certainly going to look like it. The major OEM lamp makers usually have a variety of projectors which have been developed and the same unit if often used for different headlamps and manufacturers ( (eg the Mazda h/l is made by Koito whose customers are Japanese car cos- but I doubt whether the projector is serviced.

99% of things Made in China off ebay are rubbish. Either poor quality or just stop working after a few months (thus no comeback on the seller, who usually operates multiple accounts and has moved on).
