Hmm, right you are MB - I was sure I had read the tach thing somewhere. It is possible to read too much I guess ;)

I'm very interested in the dwell adjuster circuit, DIY-style. I've just finished my first electronics project (Jaycar Digital Fuel Adjuster) and I'm ready for another project. I'm definitely in for $25 if it will be suitable for my NA6. Will it?
I don't have the COPs yet, but it's definitely on the agenda for me. Weren't you making these a little while back? Can I possibly get one from you?
Cheers,
Trav.
From what I have read on the googles, the early NA runs a longer dwell than the later NA and NB. Is anyone here with one of these cars running the stock ECU able to scope it?
Trav, once we know this info I will get in touch with Jason and see if he can come up with anything. I'm no EE.
Cheers

No NA6 owners wanting to help out with this dwell measurement?

How do you measure it?
If it can be done with a multimeter I can ask Pam to measure it on her car.

Sab, you can put me down for one of the boards if you do go ahead.
As far as measuring dwell goes, I'm using an Innovate SSI-4 unit and an NA8 OEM ECU. It looks like it can measure and log ignition and/or injector dwell but it will be at least a few weeks before I have the time to try it. I can't help with an NA6 though.

Hey mate, sorry I didn't get back to your PM. The dwell time on a NA6 is 5ms.
