Would it be cheating if you so kindly gave us the dimensions of your sub box? :)

Na wouldn't be cheating
but I am nowhere near my car!
easy way to do it is cut a carboard template of side profile
and make sure its going to clear everything.

then just work between deciding factors ie the boot hinges!

I just made it out of my head so there is not even sketches!

it would make the same sound regardless unless you used an NV series Fusion or Clarion Reverse mount :D there is only so much room for the air to go.. LowMiata's would sound MUCH better than mine due to the size of the box and its prettier! lol

and to finish it off just carpet and staple it vynil has to be perfect but trimming in carpet hides alot of average work and makes it perfect.

Dealing with vinyl isnt that bad...heck last weekend I re-trimmed my doors, and it looks awesome......ur boot install has inspired be though...

All made from MDF better to use than ply for stezza's,
down side is its heavier.

that's why you paint it or cover it in fibreglass resin when it's assembled
or just keep it dry
progress on mine is still moving along, nearly finished the fibreglassing of the sub box backing
