I am looking to replace the Bose 8inch + tweeter in my NC1 with the Focal ISU200
I realise the 8” original is 1ohm so I will loose some volume but have heard others have done it and they sound much better.
I have just downloaded a wiring diagram and it appears the tweeter and woofer are run active ie they have separate wires all the way from the amp which means crossover points for the new speakers might be wrong.
Does anyone know if you can effectively join the wires to both speakers (woofer and tweeter) to bypass the internal crossover point? Or is there a better way short of replacing the head unit and getting rid of the amp?
