Can anyone confirm if the NC1 built in late 2005 and Aust complied in early 2006 has OBD2 port compatibility and function?
It's just that all the OBD2 literature says Mazda MX5 function post 2007?
I'm hoping a 2005/6 has this feature otherwise I'll be giving away a OBD2 code reader!
Stumped.
Cheers
Mark

Re: NC 1 OBD2 compatibility?
My understanding is that OBD2 compatibility is from NB8B & onwards in Australia.
My Mazda workshop & Gregory's manuals reckon it's from 1996 on, but I think that must be the US market.

No problem using ODB2 on my 2006 NC1.
