Never said there was a problem with loading maps that you have saved to cut down time, I used to do it. I was saying that some tuners push a curtain ecu for that reason. I want my tuner to ask what ecu? Yer cool no problem.... and even says, oh never done one but I will sort it.. that's a great tuner. I've heard so many stories of tuners telling people, no can't tune that you will have to put one of these in first, when the ecu they have will do the job fine. I'm aware that sometimes old ecu's are not upto some jobs and should be upgraded, then is fare enough to spend the customers money, but it is not just because u don't like or can't tune the ecu.
