Did a quick search but found nothing definitive...
Has anyone used / is using one of these batteries in their car?
- Which one are you using?
- Does it start the car easily?
- Does it hold its charge if left to sit for weeks?
I have a tiny one in my Integra but I flick the kill switch whenever it is parked at home...thinking of something similar but not as ridiculously light (and expensive) for the MX5.

Re: SSB PowerSport Lithium Battery
I have one. The exact size I will need to find out.
No problems starting my car. With a lithium it does not constant cranking, if it does not fire on the first 3-4 revolutions wait a few secs before restarting.
Holding a charge, I hit the kill switch every time I stop the car so can't comment. I do not have any ancillary (radio etc) electrical load so again take this into account. Night time driving, again I have not done too much of this but the lights do not dim when at idle.

Thanks Mark! Do you mind if I ask what that cost?
I can look up the other specs.
