Alarm Control Box Location
Trying to locate my control box for my alarm, so far have looked up behind dash, head on floor legs over seats! I drilled out the panel for the ECU, not there, took all the trim out the boot, not there. Looked under centre console, guess what? Run out of ideas. Oh, also looked under bonnet, traced wire back from siren 'till it vanished into loom.

Follow the other end (where you touch the key).
Does it work? If not, maybe someone has ripped out the Box.

Had similar problem when first sorting wiring in my NB. Finally found it tucked in to a small gap to the left behind the instrument panel.

Alarm works with remote, got a new remote to program , no touch key though. Tried tracing back the wire from LED it disappears into the loom!

to the left? Do you mean nearside? Have to be sure, how did you get at it? Have had instrument panel out and didn't see it, could have missed it though, maybeee[FLUSHED FACE]KevGoat wrote:Had similar problem when first sorting wiring in my NB. Re: Alarm Control Box Location
I can only get to the wiring from mine by removing the instrument panel. I don't have the flexibility to distort myself to the angles required to see or reach that far up from below my dash, but it would be possible with the seat removed
Only found the module by chance. It's tucked in behind the dash metal through a small hole in the dash and because it's black and all the wiring is black, it looked like part of the dash. Had to chase along a lot of wires before I found the one that I could follow all the way to the module.
It's been over a year since I had it all apart so I can't recall the exact position or how it was positioned. It was towards the passenger side and below the instrument panel and above the steering column.
