Amp Behing Passenger Seat

Postby Damon Clubman » Sun Aug 17, 2014 11:22 pm

All:

Just a quick one.

I want to fit a small amp behind the passenger seat in my NA Clubman.
Am I OK to use 10mm tech screws directly into the rear wall/bulkhead skin or is the fuel tank there?
There would be a couple of screws about 200mm up from the floor about 250mm apart from centre of the wall and about 300mm higher up with the same spacing.
Non of the holes really above the arm rest height on the centre console.

You help would be great.

Thanks

Damon

You'd want to be careful, the fuel tank is behind that bulkhead!

On my SE there are a couple of welded nuts on that rear bulkhead. I put bolts through them to hold a piece of mdf that my amp was attached to.

I used velcro in the same place.
