Yeah ... I'm in Adelaide (Southern) & haven't found anyone who does the key for my NB8A. Think I'll have to fork out the Mazda Dealership asking price to get mine

There is a locksmith at the Berwick market (Melbourne) on Sundays does them half price

Also looking for someone in Sydney. I did look into buying the transponder online but got confused last time I tried, there's a lot of different models!

A few locksmiths have these machines, also the key cutter at Carousel (the one at the Southern end) and the key cutter Coventry Square Markets.

Perhaps i'm paranoid but where possible I prefer to take my keys to a locksmith and pay cash since they could easily copy a key and borrow my car.

Oh the online guys only sell you the blanks with the transponder chips, you still need to get them cut yourself. Probably reasonably safe, especially if you had it shipped to your work address too
