NB fog light switch bulb replacement.

Hey guys,

The fog light switch in the SP has stopped illuminating when the fogs are on, I pulled the switch apart and it appears the tiny bulb inside has burnt out.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows the part number for this bulb?

Does it come out of the plastic bit?

I was at Supercheap auto today and they had tiny wedge base bulbs that looked about the same size as that (assuming it comes out of the plastic)

I can't remember the bulb number, but they were in with the rest of the headlight/indicator bulbs

na, it doesn't come out, it's actually part of the bulb.

Not sure then, knowing Mazda it won't be available separately though

If it matches any bulbs from an NB cluster I have a spare cluster I'm happy to donate a bulb from.

just go into Bursons - they carry a full range and should be able to identify it. Its clearly a wedge bulb but it may well be sold as an assy ie with the base bulbholder being integral. It should not be hard to source.

I went to a few different car places today and all of them had never seen a bulb like it, I ended up buying a small 12v globe from Jaycar and wiring it up in the original holder.

Quick question, is the fog light switch supposed to be illuminated always while the lights are on, or only when you turn the fogs to on?
