On my NA6 ive swapped the front parking lights and indicators around so the park lights are much brighter (LED) whilst the indicators are now just the regular orange wedge globe. I did use a wedge LED for the indicator but it was making the flashes go crazy and the orange LEDS werent as bright as regular bulbs so i swapped them back.
The problem is the wedge globes still dont draw as much current as the original globes and it is still flashing too fast. flashing is about halfway between normal and no globe. Is there anyway to fix this with a cheap resistor i can wire inline with the indicator?
getting indicators to slow down.

Yup. LED load resistors will fix your problem.

Re: getting indicators to slow down.
From reading there no reason why it wouldn't but why bother? The load resistor is the most popular (read:proven) solution and it's a very easy inline install.

Re: getting indicators to slow down.
i did the diy flasher from the miata.net thread and its fixed it. was only a few bucks too.
btw orange wedge LEDS are useless in the daytime.
